    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Operates within a crew to clean, repair, and maintain the carpets, upholstery, and drapes at all Chumash Enterprise properties. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes assigned tasks in a timely and precise manner.</li>\n <li>Preps carpet, carpet machinery, and related chemicals and equipment for cleaning.</li>\n <li>Cleans carpets in assigned area using carpet extractor machinery to remove all dirt, stains, chewing gum, etc.</li>\n <li>Operates, maintains, and repairs carpet extractor machinery, vacuum cleaners, and other cleaning equipment.</li>\n <li>Cleans upholstery with upholstery cleaning machine, inspects spots to determine composition and proper cleaning method. </li>\n <li>Transports furniture and chairs to Upholstery Room for maintenance and repair.</li>\n <li>Uses cleaning agents properly and as directed.</li>\n <li>Operates carpet and upholstery equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with department standards. </li>\n <li>Protects Team Members and casino guests from the work area during cleaning process by properly clearing and designating the area i.e., removing furniture, setting up appropriate barricades etc. </li>\n <li>Coordinates the closing of areas for cleaning and repairs with Casino Operations.</li>\n <li>Notifies a supervisor when any unsafe, unsanitary, or defective condition is detected.</li>\n <li>Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration, while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash. </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED Certificate.</li>\n <li>Two years of prior upholstery and carpet cleaning experience or completion of ISSA Custodial Technician course preferred. </li>\n <li>Must be capable of operating cleaning machines and equipment.</li>\n <li>Must possess basic mechanical knowledge and ability.</li>\n <li>Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and internet.</li>\n <li>Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends. </li>\n <li>Native American hiring preference applies.</li>\n <li><strong>Quality Orientation:</strong> Setting high standards regarding his/her work and working environment and acting; accordingly, developing quality standards, continuously evaluating performance, products, and procedures; actively seeking ways to improve quality.</li>\n <li><strong>Accountability:</strong> Accepting responsibility that results in anticipation/prevention of problem areas from actions, and problem solving inside and outside the department/organization.</li>\n <li><strong>Problem Solving:</strong> Having the ability to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and to find effective solutions with few guidelines.</li>\n <li><strong>Oral Communication:</strong> Shaping and expressing ideas and information in an effective manner.</li>\n <li><strong>Written Communication:</strong> Expressing ideas and opinions clearly in properly structured, well organized, and grammatically correct reports or documents; utilizing language and terminology that is understandable for the reader.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Location</h2>3400 Highway 246\n<h2>Minimum Pay Rate</h2>$19.60 per hour\n<h2>Maximum Pay Rate</h2>$22.53 per hour",
