    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<blockquote>\n <p><strong>Installation &amp; Startup Support</strong></p>\n</blockquote>\n<ul>\n <li>Support installation, checkout, and commissioning of mechanical and utility systems for a new standalone manufacturing area.</li>\n <li>Assist with system testing, startup activities, and troubleshooting during construction and commissioning phases.</li>\n <li>Along with the Mechanical Engineer, coordinate with contractors, and vendors during installation and field execution.</li>\n <li>Support safe execution of tie-ins, outages, and system transitions.</li>\n</ul>\n<blockquote>\n <p><strong>Operations &amp; Maintenance</strong></p>\n</blockquote>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and utility systems in support of 24/7 manufacturing operations.</li>\n <li>Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.</li>\n <li>Respond to system upsets, alarms, and equipment issues, escalating as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Assist with troubleshooting and repair of utilities such as HVAC, exhaust, water, gases, and mechanical infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Support minor mechanical modifications, repairs, and field adjustments to maintain system performance and reliability.</li>\n</ul>\n<blockquote>\n <p><strong>Documentation &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></p>\n</blockquote>\n<ul>\n <li>Support development and execution of maintenance procedures, checklists, and PM documentation.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and system status information.</li>\n <li>Assist with spare parts management, vendor coordination, and maintenance planning.</li>\n <li>Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve system reliability, safety, and uptime.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade training preferred.</li>\n <li>6 years of hands-on experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC systems, chillers, exhaust, pumps, piping, and process utility infrastructure in an industrial, manufacturing, or cleanroom environment.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills &amp; Other Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation,&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires movement between office areas, construction zones, cleanrooms, and manufacturing environments throughout the workday.</li>\n <li>Must be comfortable working indoors in cleanrooms and outdoors in utility areas with exposure to heat, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform extended site walks and inspections, including navigating uneven surfaces and active construction sites.</li>\n <li>Must be able to:<br>\n   o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work inside Class 100/1000 cleanroom environments<br>\n   o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Wear required PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, cleanroom garments, etc.) and adhere to site safety protocols<br>\n   o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work around chemicals, including acids and solids<br>\n   o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work around hazardous and non-hazardous gases<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
