    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>This role will serve as a strategic and tactical specialist for all environmental health and safety processes including audits, assessments, training, and legal compliance. Provides support and consultation to the department leaders and team members.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Key Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop in-depth knowledge of federal, state and local safety laws, regulations, codes and rules, including all OSHA safety protocols</li><li>Responsible for the development of safety policies, training programs, strategies and procedures</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Coordinate and administer safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA and all other regulatory requirements</li><li>Identify, design and develop company health and safety processes, training programs and procedures as well as enforcing regulatory regulations and company policies</li><li>Manages the Worker&rsquo;s Compensation program for NewAge</li><li>Establishes a culture of safety by conducting and documenting required OSHA training for all team members, equipment training, and other applicable OSHA training</li><li>Analyzes safety data and performs trend analysis; providing reports and safety metrics to leadership team</li></ul><ul><li>Interpret chemical SDS and implement appropriate accommodations</li><li>Manage and track all training, certification, and re-certification; incorporating timelines for re-training and procedures to accomplish the training</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lead monthly safety meetings and ensure all required documentation is up to date and compliant with OSHA as well as any other state requirements and company policies</li><li>Conduct new hire orientation training to ensure delivery of all safety programs and other necessary safety guidance to newly hired team members</li></ul><ul><li>Conducts and document monthly facility safety inspections providing corrective action when necessary. Ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner&nbsp;and ensures compliance with all state and federal laws.</li><li>Facilitate accident investigations, prepare incident and accident reports as well as work with management to determine root cause</li><li>Inspect work sites and machinery for potential hazards and ensure all health and safety protocols are being followed.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Develop plans for workplace emergencies and evacuations (Ex. In case of hurricanes, fires, toxic gas releases, chemical spills, civil disturbances and workplace violence)</li><li>Respond to reports of potentially unsafe working conditions in a timely manner</li></ul><p><strong>______________________________________________________________________</strong></p><p><strong>Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health or related field&nbsp;</li><li>3-5 years of relevant experience in Environmental Health and Safety in a manufacturing/warehouse environment</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of health and safety compliance, regulations, standards, safe work practices, and procedures</li></ul><ul><li>Strong desire to drive improvement with the belief that all injuries and incidents can be prevented</li><li>Ability to work with all levels of the organization including senior leaders, managers, and hourly team members</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience managing safety programs at multiple locations</li><li>Completion of OSHA 40-hour training preferred</li><li>First Aid/CPR training preferred</li></ul></div>\n",
