Qualified candidates will support various technical areas serving as a multi-disciplinary analyst to multiple projects and programs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsibilities:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Data analysis and visualization, including responding to quick-reaction requests for analysis</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analysis comparing intelligence information to existing data for various applications and purposes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and present briefings capturing analysis, intelligence information, and technology trends</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform studies and initial modeling efforts in support of various customer needs on quick-reaction tasking with limited scope</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Documentation and presentation of work to internal and external customers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reviewing engineering briefs and performing recommendations based on domain knowledge and analytical efforts</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Preparing and presenting analyses to customers within context of customer needs</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic Qualifications:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor of Science degree or Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Other similar/related degrees may be considered if accompanied by relevant experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills to convey abstract concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to construct succinct and focused technical briefs conveying a clear message to the customer.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to design and execute meaningful analysis.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and correlating technical approaches with a diverse team to understand and recommend forward-leaning tasks to the program managers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Skilled in using Python or MATLAB to process, interpret, analyze and plot data derived from engineering products.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong organization and data management skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal oversight.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Preferred Qualifications:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Two or more years of relevant industry experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with missile flight mechanics, orbital mechanics, missile guidance and control systems, or aerospace vehicle performance characteristics.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience developing threat missile models and trajectory modeling.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience presenting engineering studies, technical reports, and analytical findings to government customers and technical review boards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Programming and scripting experience in a Linux Environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems technology domains.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with cruise, hypersonic, and/or ballistic missile defense programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Curious, adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn new skills.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>nou (pronounced &lsquo;new&rsquo;) Systems:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Since its founding in 2012, nou Systems has built a reputation for excellence in innovative engineering, prototype development, and technical and professional services in multiple markets, including missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control.
