Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li>Providing direct care for injury and illness and/or referring to community healthcare provider as necessary</li><li>Leading case and care management planning for occupational and non-occupational illness and injury, collaborating with vendor(s) or appropriate parties to determine return to work/disability management plan </li><li>Planning implementing, and evaluating required or recommended medical surveillance and fitness for duty programs according to protocols and ensures appropriate follow-up of results</li><li>Leading health and well-being initiatives at the site.  Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates health promotion programs for plant population, including appropriate immunizations</li><li>Documenting worker medical encounters in appropriate systems, maintaining proper documentation while preserving medical confidentiality according to 3M and medical practice standards</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise  </b></p><p>To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution</li><li>Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in a private, public, government or military environment</li><li>Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Minnesota or ability to obtain.</li><li>Two (2) years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems</li></ul><p></p><p>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution</li><li>Experience working in a Manufacturing/Production environment providing direct delivery of nursing services to workers</li><li>Certification(s)/willingness to obtain:<ul><li>Council for Accreditation Occupational Hearing Conservation</li><li>National Institute of Safety and Health (NIOSH) Spirometry training</li><li>American Board of Occupational Health (COHN, COHN-S and/or Case Management)</li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification (that includes AED)</li></ul></li><li>Knowledge and experience with disability management, basic ergonomics, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and state privacy acts, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), applicable Workers’ Compensation statutes, applicable Nurse Practice Act, and medical surveillance regulatory requirements are needed</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Location: </b>Redwing, MN</p><p><b>Travel: May include up to 5% domestic </b></p><p><b>Relocation Assistance: Not authorized</b></p><p></p><p><b>Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).</b></p><p></p><p><b>Supporting Your Well-being</b> </p><p>3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
