We promote from within, provide great benefits, and treat our employees like family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature. Duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew. Laborer can become a specialist within a crew such as a \"Top Person\" or a \"Pipe Layer\" on a pipe crew. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using pick and or shovel.</li>\n <li>Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tool and supplies. </li>\n <li>Cleans tools, materials and work areas.</li>\n <li>Mixes, pours and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other material using hand tools.</li>\n <li>Operate company vehicles to escort employees, supervision and trade partners on job site.</li>\n <li>Must comply with airport rules and security, required to keep badge in good standing.</li>\n <li>Performs a wide variety of manual tasks including pipe assembly, pipe cutting and laying, removal or forms from set concrete, taking layout shots, directing equipment operators on cuts and fills, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Hourly Range:</strong>• $22.00 - $23.00, based on experience.  \n<strong>Benefits:</strong>• We offer competitive industry-leading benefits (including Medical, Vision and Dental), vacation, paid holidays, annual performance bonus program and 401k.\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>1-2 years of experience on construction sites.</li>\n <li>GED/High School diploma or related work experience.</li>\n <li>Trade School a plus.</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License required.</li>\n <li>For project entry and access, must meet badging requirements of BWI Airport.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Our Company Does Work That Matters</strong></p>\n<p>Allan Myers is a leading self-performing heavy civil construction and construction materials company with a strategic network of offices, quarries and asphalt plants covering the Mid-Atlantic from New Jersey to Virginia Beach.
