Junior FP&A Analyst

Your Role As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you will support core FP&A execution, including forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and model maintenance, in a fast‑paced public‑company environment. You will partner closely with senior FP&A leadership, accounting, and cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and decision‑ready financial insights. Success in this role requires analytical rigor, ownership, learning agility, and clear communication. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial models supporting budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts Support monthly close, forecasting, and management reporting aligned with public‑company standards Reconcile FP&A outputs to accounting actuals and support SEC reporting consistency Perform variance analysis and explain key performance drivers Prepare management reports with KPIs, trends, and insights Assist with cash flow forecasting, burn‑rate analysis, and liquidity monitoring Identify financial risks, trends, and anomalies and escalate insights as needed Partner with teams to ensure spend aligns with budgets and priorities Improve FP&A processes, models, and reporting workflows Support financial analysis for new initiatives (robotics, intelligent systems, digital assets) Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 2–3 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Curiosity and interest in automotive, technology, and robotics sectors Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.
