MRI engineers and manufactures advanced water and wastewater treatment equipment to solve complex issues facing treatment facilities worldwide. Our products include Inclined Plate Settlers, Hoseless Cable-Vac&trade; and Ultra-Scraper Sludge Collectors, flocculation systems, mixers, baffles, pilot systems, and package systems. MRI holds over 50 patents and has worked on over 5,000 installations cleaning more than 5 billion gallons of water each day.</p><p><strong>Position Description:</strong></p><p>Services products and equipment as assigned. Starts up, identifies, analyzes, and repairs instruments and products at customer&rsquo;s location. Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, installations and modifications as needed or requested by customers, performs operator and maintenance training at customer site.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Equipment Installation &amp; Maintenance:</strong> Install, commission, and maintain water/wastewater treatment systems, pumps, valves, PLCs, HMIs, Controls, and related components.</li><li><strong>Troubleshooting &amp; Repairs:</strong> Diagnose and resolve operational and process issues with mechanical, electrical, and chemical treatment systems.</li><li><strong>Field Support:</strong> Liaise with customer to provide on-site technical support, site surveys, inspections, maintenance of our equipment for water/wastewater treatment facilities, and provide feedback to Business Units for continuous improvement.</li><li><strong>Customer Training:</strong> Educate clients on proper equipment use, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.</li><li><strong>Regulatory Compliance:</strong> Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and safety standards.</li><li><strong>Documentation &amp; Reporting:</strong> Maintain accurate service records, complete work orders, and provide detailed reports on equipment performance and issues.</li></ul><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Associate or Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, or Engineering, or Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or 5+ years of related field experience.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Minimum 2 years technical training in Controls/Programming.</li><li>3-5+ years operation/troubleshooting experience in Water and/or Wastewater industry</li><li>3 &ndash; 5 years of Field Service experience&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with ISO9001 requirements desirable.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Strong understanding of Water/Wastewater treatment processes, pumps, motors, SCADA systems, PLC/HMI products and associated programming</li><li>Thorough electrical knowledge of Control Panels and VFDs.</li><li>Ability to read and understand mechanical and technical drawings.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.</li><li>Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><p><strong>Licenses and/or Certifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>None Required</li></ul><p><strong>Travel:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Ability to travel up to 90%.</li></ul><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
