Services include pre-construction modeling, structural design support, steel and concrete detailing, connection and stair engineering, panel book detailing, estimate modeling, and BIM management. </span>We are looking for a highly skilled and detailed oriented Connection Design Engineer <span>who can help drive project success from inception to completion.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The ideal candidate will </span>work with the project manager and associated team to organize and implement new and exciting company projects. Working in a team environment, you will <span>have significant experience in designing connections for steel and concrete structures, with proficiency in Tekla for detailing, blueprints, and Bluebeam for markups and reviews. </span>This role is essential to the launching of new projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Primary responsibilities will include structural analysis for delegated steel connection design projects</span></li>\n<li><span>Will work on CISC &amp; AISC projects. AISC projects will be led by our US company</span></li>\n<li><span>Typical projects would consist of steel connection design, miscellaneous steel design, and erection engineering</span></li>\n<li><span>Additional responsibilities include calculation development, steel shop drawing reviews, submittal preparation, RFI development and new calculation development to enhance efficiencies</span></li>\n<li><span>Utilize analysis software programs such as Ram Connection, RISA Connection, Excel, Idea Statica, Bluebeam, Trimble Connect and Revit</span></li>\n<li><span>Review 3-D BIM models to aid in building design, connection design and shop drawing reviews</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What Makes You Stand Out:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>An advanced understanding of relevant building codes, materials, and standards</span></li>\n<li><span>Enthusiasm and desire to succeed and develop technical skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written</span></li>\n<li><span>Software skills with any of the following are a plus: Ram Connection, RISA Connection, Excel, Idea Statica, Bluebeam, Trimble Connect and Revit</span></li>\n<li><span>Attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and strong organizational skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines</span></li>\n<li><span>Passion for steel design and growing professional knowledge and skills in steel construction</span></li>\n<li><span>Relationship management skills and openness to feedback</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Why Work for JMT Consultants?
