Position Description:
The Department of Natural, Health, and Mathematical Sciences at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU), invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of General Chemistry adjunct lab instructor. General Chemistry I is offered every fall with two sections of the laboratory. General Chemistry II is offered every spring with two sections of the laboratory. Curriculum is provided. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and to Christian education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach/direct undergraduate general chemistry laboratory courses.
Work under the direction of full-time chemistry faculty member.
Maintain up to date records of student grades
Qualifications
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field preferred. An MS in Chemistry in a related field will be considered.
Ability to work collaboratively with department chair and full-time chemistry faculty.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teaching.
