Stantec is currently seeking Interns to provide technical support on a variety of projects. These positions will be part of Stantec’s Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of regulatory, ecological, engineering and environmental planning issues.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers in the management and implementation of various environmental projects.
Engineering support could include design, CAD drafting; project documentation (i.e. report preparation, water quality calculations, drainage area delineations, hydrologic calculations, file organization, etc.); construction observation, attendance at client meetings and various project-related tasks.
Assist staff conducting research.
Conduct fieldwork on a variety of sites.
Prepare other project documentation as required.
Track the processing of incoming and outgoing project documents.
Performing other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of college education in environmental sciences or an engineering field.
Preferred candidate is familiar with AutoCAD and MS Office software.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong detail orientation and ability to organize and prioritize a diverse array of assignments and duties.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with a team.
Enjoys both field work and office work.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
