This individual will conduct a variety of group sessions (MIRG) for fathers to educate men on fathering and to provide preventative services information and resources.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Employees must spend over 50% of their time on these duties.</p><p>1.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Disseminates information to community members, identifies and recruits program participants.</p><p>2.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Plans, coordinates and implements MIRG programs, community workshops and events.</p><p>3.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Explains various programs and workshops offered by CII to schools, community organizations, and other interested groups. Schedules programs, gathers information about the needs of various groups and prepares program materials.</p><p>4.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Plans, promotes and facilitates Father involvement in the child development approach to child development. Facilitate group sessions with participation and conduct focus groups.</p><p>5.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Markets and interprets the goals and objectives of programs to community groups, schools, professionals and other interested people. Promotes staff awareness of the importance of Father involvement in the child development process and conducts local activities that are part of countywide campaigns.</p><p>6.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintains attendance records and evaluation measures on program.</p><p>7.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Tracks status for and completion of special projects and the contract management.</p><p>8.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Prepares written reports, minutes, memos, agendas and other project-related correspondence for internal and external distribution.</p><p>9.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Attends and coordinates internal and external meetings and community events.
