K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>This is a pro-bono volunteer position. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a creative and innovative <strong>Curriculum Designer / Curriculum Writer</strong> to develop engaging and educational materials for middle school students. The main objective of this role is to design a comprehensive and age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with our organization's mission and educational goals. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to identify learning objectives and content requirements.</li>\n <li> Design curriculum modules, lesson plans, and teaching materials for various STEM subjects, ensuring they are age-appropriate and aligned with educational standards.</li>\n <li> Create interactive and hands-on activities that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in students. </li>\n <li>Incorporate technology and digital resources to enhance learning experiences. Review and edit existing curriculum materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.</li>\n <li> Develop specialized curriculum modules focusing on cutting-edge topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, designed to engage and challenge middle school students.</li>\n <li> Work with the Education Team to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the designed curriculum.</li>\n <li> Provide support and training to educators and volunteers on the effective use of the curriculum materials.</li>\n <li> Stay up-to-date with developments in the education field and make continuous improvements to the curriculum. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Proven experience in curriculum design and development, particularly for middle school students.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of STEM education principles and best practices.</li>\n <li>Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and concise educational content.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using technology for curriculum development, including digital tools and software.</li>\n <li>Creativity and the ability to design engaging and interactive learning materials.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li>\n <li>Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, able to work effectively with stakeholders and subject matter experts.</li>\n <li>Understanding of educational standards and assessment methods.</li>\n <li><strong>Must commit to 5-7 Hours a week for 6 months</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>This is a pro-bono volunteer position. </strong></p>",
