In other words, we strive to be the best we can be.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Infiltrator Water Technologies has an exciting new role available – <strong>Product Design Engineer II</strong>. We are seeking an experienced and talented Mechanical Engineer with expertise in plastic design. Here is a bit about the role:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>New Product development including engineering concept, design analysis, calculations and problem solving.</li>\n <li>Conduct form/fit feasibility studies on new product concepts.</li>\n <li>Address product design issues with respect to tooling and manufacturing with other team members.</li>\n <li>Provides technical support to other departments.</li>\n <li>Works directly on the development of prototype parts.</li>\n <li>Responsible for CAD design, drawings and changes.</li>\n <li>Responsible for conducting design reviews and drawing reviews</li>\n <li>Apply project management principles to define task workload and timelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assure technical quality and design process rigor in execution of all assigned tasks.</li>\n <li>Apply product lifecycle management approach through PDM software</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent written/verbal communication skills and superior interpersonal skills for interaction with all levels of personnel and contacts within and outside IWT.</li>\n <li>S. in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a concentration in plastics part design and molding. </li>\n <li>Proven creative skills in product design and problem solving through coursework or personal interests. </li>\n <li>Must have at least 5+ years designing 3D (physical) products that have a high percentage of plastic materials. </li>\n <li>Hands-on physical skills associated with product development extremely important.</li>\n <li>Experience with working in a shop environment and ability to make simple prototypes highly desirable.</li>\n <li>5+ years with CAD experience required; SolidWorks preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience with a range of materials (particularly various plastics) and processes (injection molding, thermoforming).</li>\n <li>Must possess a comfort level with (and interest in) working in a very fast-paced product development environment where ideation and product design rapidly evolve.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>EEO Statement</h2>\n<p>ADS supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience, and background.
