Together, we are EXP.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your work environment at EXP</strong></p><p><br>EXP is recruiting for&nbsp;a Project Manager/Engineer&nbsp;to join its Building Science - Structural Rehabilitation Team&nbsp;in our Brampton, ON office. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of technical work&nbsp;related to new construction, assessment, and restoration of concrete structures and waterproofing membrane systems, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below.</p><p><br><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul><li>Condition survey and assessment of structural components and waterproofing of parking structures, balcony decks and other concrete elements in existing buildings.</li><li>Preparation of specifications and drawings for rehabilitation projects.</li><li>Review of submittals, shop drawings, substitution requests and requests&nbsp;for information from the contractor.</li><li>Attendance of meetings with the Architects, Clients, Contractors and&nbsp;Trades.</li><li>Review of mock-up and standard of installation reviews.</li><li>Report writing and review of reports from field reviewers.</li><li>Design review related to waterproofing and concrete elements of the architectural drawings and specifications for new construction projects.</li><li>Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior staff.</li><li>Conduct construction contract administration and construction review services during the repairs.</li><li>Project management to ensure the deliverables and tasks are conducted within budget, in schedule, and of quality and per the established standards</li><li>Conduct periodic invoicing and collect accounts receivable in time.</li><li>Conduct business development propagating the services and preparing engineering fee proposals.</li><li>Liaison with Clients, building strong client relationships, and generating new business.</li><li>Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to at all sites and report to Manager and Joint Health and Safety Committee Members.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul><li>5+years of technical experience in building science and/or&nbsp;structural rehabilitation with a proven ability to manage projects and help facilitate business&nbsp;development.</li><li>University degree in a related field of study, such as Civil Engineering, Structural, Architecture, or Building Science.</li><li>P. Eng. designation in ON is required.</li><li>In depth knowledge of concrete structural elements and waterproofing membrane systems.</li><li>Knowledge of various building envelope systems and assemblies is an asset.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of standards and guidelines related to parking structures/balcony systems and assemblies.</li><li>Experience in restoration projects.</li><li>Experience in new construction projects is an&nbsp;asset.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required for site&nbsp;visits.</li><li>Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with clients and&nbsp;co-workers.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a high demand and fast-paced&nbsp;environment.</li><li>An excellent team builder with the ability to motivate&nbsp;people.</li><li>Leadership skills are an&nbsp;asset.</li></ul><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p>This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.</p><p>The base salary range for this role is between&nbsp;<strong>$85k to $110k</strong>.&nbsp;The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span data-teams=\"true\">#LI-AO1&nbsp;</span></p><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><div><p><span class=\"x2kd x1a\"><strong>EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
