          "text": "<p>AECOM is seeking a Schematic Project Manager (Surface Transportation)&#xa0;in Dallas, Texas&#xa0;to support and grow our Transportation Business Line. This role will serve as a key client facing leader, guiding the successful delivery of complex highway and roadway projects from the earliest schematic phases through final design. The ideal candidate brings deep schematic development&#xa0;expertise&#xa0;and a strong understanding of&#xa0;relevant regulatory&#xa0;processes, standards, and expectations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, build trusted relationships with clients, and ensure&#xa0;high-quality, innovative solutions for surface transportation infrastructure across the region.&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Key Responsibilities&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Lead the planning, management, and delivery of surface transportation projects, with a primary focus on schematic development for highways and roadways.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engaging regularly to understand needs, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout project delivery.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Direct multidisciplinary internal teams, including&#xa0;roadway, traffic, drainage, environmental, and structures, to deliver coordinated and&#xa0;technically&#xa0;sound design solutions.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Guide&#xa0;the development of schematic design alternatives, alignment studies, preliminary layouts, and corridor level analysis.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Support production of technical documents, reports, presentations, and project deliverables.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Identify&#xa0;and mitigate project risks while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and proactive&#xa0;problem-solving.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Support business development activities, including client relationship management, proposal development, and&#xa0;pursuit&#xa0;strategy.&#xa0;</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p>Minimum&#xa0;Requirements&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering&#xa0;or a related field and 10+ years of relevant surface transportation project experience, including schematic development, or&#xa0;demonstrated&#xa0;equivalency of experience and/or education.&#xa0;</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.&#xa0;</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications&#xa0;</p><ul><li>20+ years of experience delivering&#xa0;schematicphase&#xa0;highway and roadway projects, ideally within TxDOT districts.&#xa0;</li><li>Proven experience as a&#xa0;clientfacing&#xa0;project manager for transportation agencies.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>Strong background in developing roadway alternatives, schematic layouts, and preliminary design concepts.&#xa0;</li><li>Demonstrated success managing large or complex transportation projects from concept through design.&#xa0;</li></ul>",
