You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating bulldozers to move, level, and grade earth, rock, and other materials. Your work will support quarry production, maintain haul roads and dump areas, and uphold our high safety and environmental standards.Operate D8, D9, or D10 Bulldozer equipment.</p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Equipment Operation:</strong> Operate dozers and other heavy equipment in a safe, efficient manner to move materials, maintain stockpiles, clear debris, and support daily production targets.</li><li><strong>Site Maintenance:</strong> Ensure proper grading of roads, ramps, and working areas; maintain haul roads by smoothing surfaces and filling in ruts/potholes to support safe vehicle travel.</li><li><strong>Inspections &amp; Preventative Maintenance:</strong> Conduct thorough pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment; report any defects and coordinate necessary repairs or scheduled maintenance with the maintenance team.</li><li><strong>Safety Compliance:</strong> Adhere to Ferroglobe&rsquo;s health and safety policies, as well as state and federal regulations; wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow standard operating procedures at all times.</li><li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate records of daily work, including equipment usage, inspections, and production tasks; report any irregularities to supervisors in a timely manner.</li><li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Work in tandem with quarry personnel, supervisors, and other equipment operators to ensure smooth coordination of operations.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What we seek</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>2 years + of machine experience in mining, quarry, construction, and/or earthmoving operations</li><li>Must have current MSHA 5000-23 certification</li><li>Perform physical functions per job requirements</li><li>Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English</li><li>Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards</li><li>Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Criteria/Working Conditions</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work is in a heavy industrial plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear, and see.&nbsp;</li><li>Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to thirty (30) pounds during the workday.</li><li>Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other protective equipment as required.</li></ul><ul><li>Ferroglobe promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment using mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as per applicable State Laws</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li>Highly competitive benefits programs</li><li>Weekly Production Bonus eligible</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>401k retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions</li></ul><p><strong>We are an&nbsp;</strong>Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
