Other responsibilities may be required as requested by management.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.</li><li>Good interpersonal/team skills with ability to develop effective working relationships.</li><li>High School diploma or equivalency.</li><li>Ten key proficiency.</li><li>Previous personal/computer experience.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:157.5pt;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>1-2 years teller/cash handling experience.</li><li>Previous recent experience using ITI Teller Platform.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Supervisory Functions:&nbsp;</strong></p><ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Approve teller transactions that exceed check-cashing limits.</li><li>Ensure that tellers adhere to check cashing limits policy.</li><li>Provide support and resources for employees to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in their positions.</li><li>Promote employee relations that encourage two way communication between management and employees.</li><li>Establish clear performance expectations.</li><li>Ensure that customer service and quality standards are consistently maintained in the teller department.</li><li>Assist with scheduling tellers and work assignment of duties to be completed in a timely manner with the hours that are allotted.</li><li>Vault teller duties</li><li>Provide assistance with performance reviews for all tellers, including ongoing training and supervision.</li><li>Ensure sufficient and effective communication between main bank and auto bank.</li><li>Assist tellers with balancing issues.</li><li>Train and assist tellers with image capturing machine as needed.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Teller Functions:</strong></p><ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Perform basic paying and receiving functions including cashing checks, handling deposits, savings withdrawals, loan, and escrow payments.</li><li>Balance currency and coin.</li><li>Balance cash ins and outs.</li><li>Process mail and night depository transactions.</li><li>Process cash advances, issue Visa Travel Money cards and Visa gift cards and other Bank official checks.</li><li>Redeem US savings bonds.</li><li>Order/Sell foreign currency and process foreign checks (US and Foreign funds).</li><li>Balance Coin Counter.</li><li>Responsible for overall customer service on teller line; train to keep level of service high.</li><li>Accurately and efficiently process all transactions/work the teller platform.</li><li>Responsible to follow the maintenance schedule for your assigned SCO machine.</li><li>Responsible for proper item storage and the protection of customer information.</li></ol><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Operations Functions:</strong></p><ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Maintain inventory of Visa Travel Money Cards and Visa gift cards and official checks, and similar reconciliation and monitoring functions for other operational accounts.</li><li>Various duties in operations including reconciling cash items and teller differences.</li><li>Monitor holds and ensure Reg CC guidelines are followed.</li><li>Assist with completing monthly/quarterly audit reviews/cash audits according to policies and procedures.</li></ol><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Security/Cash Control:</strong></p><ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Security: Possess a complete working knowledge of loss prevention and security policies and procedures.</li><li>Adhere to dual control procedures as defined by management.</li><li>Balance assigned cash/currency as defined by policy.</li><li>Process cash differences by end of next business day.</li><li>Assist with all other areas of securing the Bank&#39;s cash/coin and negotiable instruments.</li><li>Adhere to Bank&#39;s maximum cash limits.</li><li>Oversee transfer of cash to/from Auto Bank, other institutions, and Fed.</li></ol></div>\n",
