    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Overview </strong></p>\n<p>Under the direction of supervision (i.e. supervisor and/or team leader), the production operator is responsible for changeovers, operating, packing, loading, and preparing assigned equipment and machinery for use to meet production schedules.  Shift lengths may vary from 8 to 12 hours depending on the assigned area. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<strong>Pay:</strong> $17.00/hr + $0.90 Shift Differential \n<strong>Shift: </strong>Monday – Thursday | 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Specific Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Properly changeover, disassemble, clean, reassemble and operate all production related equipment in the assigned department in a safe and efficient manner </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operation of necessary machinery related to the job classification including documentation of the processing steps in the batch record and/or other necessary paperwork (i.e. initial setup, raw material usage, quality/weight checks and finished product quantity) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Setup, operating, adjusting programmable logic control (PLC) equipment for each batch formulation (minimum 10 or more daily) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for breaking-down, cleaning, tooling, setting up and preparing solution for (if required) equipment  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Pull, deliver and stage all materials needed; Complete stock and raw/in-process/finished material transfers  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Troubleshooting and monitoring equipment:  hand tools, viscosity meters, pneumatic equipment, pressers, melters, coaters, blenders, technophars, turret lifts, dust removers, part washers, hoppers, mills and solution tanks  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize Mettler moisture analyzers to perform moisture checks on core products  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must adhere to work instructions to ensure a consistent material is generated per customer specifications are achieved in an safe, effective and efficient manner </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize company ERP system for inventory transactions, scanning, label creation, verifying additions to batch records and data entry </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) to log production outputs, create product start-up documents to record relative standard deviations (RSDs), friability, disintegration, reliability/quality testing) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment (i.e. electric jacks, sit down, stand ups, and cherry picker forklifts for applicable area(s)) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor and adjust machine parameters in specification to maintain finish product quality and ensure proper machine operation </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that codes/lots and finished products are not mixed </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Removal and reconciliation of excess and unused materials </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform calibrations as necessary to keep all parameters in specification </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform routine preventative maintenance: Routine clean-up during operation, quick clean between lots, and full clean when required </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Run machine at 80% of target rate on a consistent basis and run 95% or better quality performance </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Other duties as assigned, overtime as required </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>General Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.   </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>The Candidate </p>\n<p><strong>Education, Experience, and Licenses</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>3 to 6 months of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) in effect, assuring the quality and quantity of product produced as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain clean work environment at all times, including and not limited to hygiene practices. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure proper labeling of finished product while completing all necessary paperwork / documentation as required (i.e batch records). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Know and understand the cGMP and other regulatory compliance </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure job specific safety procedures are established and followed </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain awareness and enforcement of health and safety practices and activities </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Be involved in the development, implementation, and updating of health and safety plans and procedures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively participate in health and safety training programs and demonstrate competency based on training received </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Capacity to perform basic computer transactions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow company escalation protocols and notify leadership accordingly </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
