    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Join ProSlide’s Product Development Team in a highly technical, hands-on product design role focused on the development of complex 3D surface geometry for large-scale fiberglass (FRP) water ride systems. This position is centered on advanced CAD surface modeling and manufacturable design, with responsibility for translating complex ride geometries into production-ready components that meet performance, safety, and fabrication requirements. This position requires strong surface modeling expertise and a deep understanding of how designs are built in the real world. Geometry Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own the development of complex 3D surface models for waterslide components.</li>\n<li>Create high-quality, continuous surfaces (A-class or equivalent) suitable for large-scale fiberglass structures.</li>\n<li>Develop and refine geometry for long, continuous ride paths and complex transitions.</li>\n<li>Ensure surface quality, continuity, and alignment across multi-part assemblies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Design for Manufacturability (Fiberglass / FRP)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design components with a strong understanding of fiberglass manufacturing processes.</li>\n<li>Application of manufacturability considerations such as part splitting, draft angles and flange design</li>\n<li>Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and production-ready.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Production Design &amp; Technical Documentation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce detailed part drawings and technical data packages (TDPs).</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and organized design evolution documentation within PDM systems.</li>\n<li>Deliver product design documentation through ProSlide’s Product Development Process.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product Development &amp; Validation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute across all stages of product development—from concept refinement through to product installation on site.</li>\n<li>Develop and execute test plans for prototype and production components.</li>\n<li>Analyze test results and drive iterative design improvements.</li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews with a focus on technical feasibility and performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Field Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in on-site installation and product verification activities.</li>\n<li>Ensure that manufactured components meet design intent and performance expectations.</li>\n<li>Travel internationally as required (up to 15%).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on 3D CAD surface modeling.</li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in SOLIDWORKS surfacing tools (or equivalent CAD surfacing platforms).</li>\n<li>Ability to use AutoCAD and knowledge of blocks.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience creating complex, non-prismatic geometry (not simple mechanical parts).</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of how designs translate into physical products.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience designing fiberglass (FRP) parts and their associated production tools.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with tooling, molds, or fabrication processes.</li>\n<li>Experience working on large-scale physical products</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with prototyping and physical validation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Attributes</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to geometric detail.</li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.</li>\n<li>Effective communicator in technical discussions and design reviews.</li>\n<li>Willingness to engage in hands-on testing and fieldwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Important Note for Applicants</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is heavily focused on technical CAD development and manufacturable geometry.</p>\n<p>If portfolios are provided they should demonstrate strong surface modeling capability and real-world product development experience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000</li>\n<li>3 weeks paid vacation</li>\n<li>Company-paid extended health and dental benefits</li>\n<li>Annual Wellness Wallet</li>\n<li>Incentive eligibility</li>\n<li>RRSP matching (after 1 year of service)<br></li>\n<li>Free parking</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">ProSlide does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen, assess, or select applicants.
