Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer III to join our team, providing expert electrical engineering support. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical systems design, construction, and maintenance, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide independent, timely and professional specialized electrical engineering support, services and consultation for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands, including minor works projects, specific projects, special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization and facilities development. Participate in conferences with project stakeholders and collaborate with other engineering and architectural disciplines to ensure system coordination and integration with specific project requirements. Typical projects include new and renovation of administration, industrial, research, laboratory, and security facilities. Types of work include: interior and exterior lighting; facility power distribution systems - including standby power generation; telecommunication systems - including voice, data, cable TV and Wi-Fi; security systems – including closed circuit TV; grounding systems; lightning protection systems; audio visual systems; and site electrical distribution – including medium-voltage distribution switchgear, substations, and transformers; site systems distribution; and overhead and underground distribution. Apply engineering skills to effectively assess customer's requirements and develop innovative solutions.
