If not otherwise specified by the professional licensing body, the maximum allowable time to practice in a “registration pending” status is three months. </li>\n <li>Active license required in radiography from the IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety.</li>\n <li>Maintain BLS CPR Certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills required. Moderate physical effort.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Perform a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, and surgical procedures on patients of all ages, according to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain technical skills relating to the manipulation of imaging factors.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain skills in performing emergency and routine patient care as required.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain technical skills in performance of portable radiographic imaging, both with static and fluoroscopic equipment.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision and values:</li>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong><u>SAFETY:</u></strong> <em>Prevent Harm</em> - I put safety first in everything I do. I prevent defects and delays.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain technical skill with the performance of trauma imaging, bariatric imaging (including the operation of bariatric patient transfer devices), imaging in ICU environments, and imaging in neonatal environments.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, Physicians and fellow employees.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Utilize proper infection control practices per the department procedure manual.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Monitor the condition of equipment and supplies to ensure safe and efficient operations of the department.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Ensure proper recording and transmission of patient information. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Ensure the safety of patients, visitors and employees.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Take call required to assigned section of the department.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Provide supervision, guidance and instruction to Radiography Students.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Provide a Great Patient Experience by employing A.I.D.E.T and “Greet and Feet”.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Performs other related work as required or requested.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
