Our model is doctor-led, which means the clinicians drive clinical decisions while our corporate team handles the operational infrastructure that keeps practices running well. Procurement is a core part of that infrastructure.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>We&rsquo;re looking for a Procurement Specialist to own purchasing, vendor relationships, cost reduction, and supply coordination across our multi-location, multi-state network. This is a hands-on role that requires someone comfortable working across many locations, building vendor trust, and keeping costs in check without disrupting operations or doctor relationships.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>You&rsquo;ll work closely with operations, finance, and practice leadership. Because our practices are doctor-led, you&rsquo;ll need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to earn buy-in at the practice level, not just execute top-down.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Cost Reduction &amp; Strategic Sourcing</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Lead cost reduction initiatives across all spend categories, including supplies, equipment, and operational goods.</li>\r\n\t<li>Benchmark current vendor pricing against market rates and identify gaps and savings opportunities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Conduct competitive bids and RFP processes for major spend categories and equipment purchases.</li>\r\n\t<li>Develop and maintain a savings tracker to document and report achieved cost reductions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Challenge legacy purchasing habits and propose alternatives that deliver equal or better quality at lower cost.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Vendor Relationship Management</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with dental supply vendors, equipment distributors, and service providers.</li>\r\n\t<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor escalations, contract discussions, and performance concerns.</li>\r\n\t<li>Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, contract terms, and service agreements that favor Five Point.</li>\r\n\t<li>Evaluate vendor performance on delivery reliability, pricing competitiveness, and service quality.</li>\r\n\t<li>Identify and onboard new vendors where existing suppliers are underperforming or overpriced.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Purchasing Operations &amp; Coordination</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Manage procurement activities across all practice locations and corporate operations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Coordinate supply, equipment, and operational purchasing needs across multiple locations and specialties.</li>\r\n\t<li>Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.</li>\r\n\t<li>Resolve shortages, delivery delays, backorders, and vendor disputes promptly.</li>\r\n\t<li>Partner with operations, finance, and practice leadership to forecast purchasing needs and manage budgets.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Reporting &amp; Process Improvement</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain procurement reports, spend data, and purchasing records with accuracy and consistency.</li>\r\n\t<li>Analyze purchasing data to surface trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Develop and refine procurement processes and documentation to support organizational growth.</li>\r\n\t<li>Confirm all purchasing activity aligns with company procedures and financial controls.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, or supply chain.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting vendor relationships.</li>\r\n\t<li>Budget management and cost analysis experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>Proficiency in Excel and strong organizational habits.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Clear communication and sound judgment when resolving problems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Comfort working in a decentralized, practice-led environment.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Multi-location or multi-state procurement experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>Dental or healthcare procurement background.</li>\r\n\t<li>Contract negotiation and inventory coordination experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience with Dentira is a plus.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>Five Point Dental Specialists is an equal opportunity employer.</em></p>\r\n",
