Hospitality at our core; we put people first by creating meaningful connections and delivering memorable experiences to every guest, every time. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong> </p>\n<p>The Senior Systems Engineer’s role is to manage and tune enterprise computer software systems. This includes network components, network connections, installation, administration, monitoring and ongoing optimization of servers, client systems and related components. The Senior Systems Engineer will develop processes to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported environment. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Strategy & Planning:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead support and implement capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users, systems, telecommunications, and network engineering.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement strategies for client/server deployments; design the infrastructure required to support those strategies.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with business applications, systems, telecommunications, and network engineering in the design and review of new client/server systems, applications, storage, and hardware; conduct capacity planning and reporting as needed.</li>\n <li>Lead, coordinate and participate in key process improvements as they relate to the client/server environment.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and collaborate with network, systems, and telecommunications engineering, business application, and database administration functions to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of corporate servers and workstations to meet business demands.</li>\n <li>Establish and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure client/server security.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Acquisition & Deployment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct research on client/server hardware, software, and protocols in support of procurement and development efforts.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with network, telecommunications, and Senior Systems Engineering, business application, and database administration functions to implement client and server systems that utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives.</li>\n <li>Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, encryption systems, VoIP, and all host security systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Operational Management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage all client and server operating systems, VoIP systems, and end-user software.</li>\n <li>Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers in accordance to business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.</li>\n <li>Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.</li>\n <li>Manage enterprise directory services and supporting server infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Perform file system configuration and management; define and perform server backups and recovery procedures.</li>\n <li>Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers and workstations. Escalate incidents as necessary.</li>\n <li>Support application development teams throughout project lifecycles.</li>\n <li>Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.</li>\n <li>Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches and reconfigurations.</li>\n <li>Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.</li>\n <li>Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.</li>\n <li>Create shell scripts as required.</li>\n <li>Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.</li>\n <li>Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs.</li>\n <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, IT, Information Assurance, or related field.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience with Information Technology and Information Security, and a minimum of 5 years as a Systems Engineer.</li>\n <li>Extensive working knowledge of cloud-based systems and services utilizing Microsoft Azure and AWS.</li>\n <li>Extensive PowerShell scripting knowledge.</li>\n <li>Extensive working technical knowledge of network, server, VoIP, and PC operating systems, including Cisco IOS, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022, VMWare 6.x/7.x, Linux, Windows 7/8/10/11, including embedded versions.</li>\n <li>Extensive working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including Microsoft System Center.</li>\n <li>Strong PowerShell and other scripting language experience</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of local and wide area network administration.</li>\n <li>Strong, hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.</li>\n <li>Experience with data management, including administration of Cohesity, HPe Nimble, Azure, AWS and Pure Storage systems.</li>\n <li>Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.</li>\n <li>Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of ITSM systems and Change Management.</li>\n <li>Extensive working knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, and SAML 2.</li>\n <li>Technical knowledge of MS Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, SolarWinds, f5, and Teams, a plus.</li>\n <li>Strong team player and be able to communicate information across a diverse and varied workforce.</li>\n <li>Highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.). </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Get</strong>  </p>\n<p>At Lucky Strike Entertainment, we’re committed to supporting your well-being both on and off the job.
