Apply today and let&rsquo;s create memorable guest experiences together!</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"582\" id=\"isPasted\">Oxford Collection is seeking a Job Site Superintendent</strong> with a proven track record of successfully completed commercial projects ranging from $500k to $30M. Oxford Suites has plans for a new hotel in Sedona, AZ, and this role will be based on-site for the duration of the project. Oxford Collection operates as an owner-builder, and all of the hotels in the portfolio are unique with design elements that blend with each location.</p><p data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"1258\" id=\"isPasted\"><strong data-start=\"164\" data-end=\"190\" id=\"isPasted\">Important Requirement:</strong> This position requires relocation to Sedona, AZ. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate and commit to being on-site full time from groundbreaking through hotel startup and turnover.</p><p>The Job Site Superintendent position will require relocation to Sedona and a full time dedication from ground breaking to start up and turnover of our new Hotel. &nbsp;The Superintendent will be responsible for all operations on a day to day basis, including but not limited to scheduling, planning, leading and coordinating subcontractors, leading and monitoring the safety program, to assure work is completed on schedule, within budget and within Oxford Suite&rsquo;s quality and safety standards. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Preconstruction -</strong> Participates in development of schedule, observing and reviewing construction documents, assisting the Project Management team with budgets and bidding, working with the local building officials, and any services needed preconstruction. Superintendent will relocate to jobsite in advance of Construction and will network and assist with the assembly of subcontractor bid lists and assist Project Manager with Subcontractor review and Contract assembly. &nbsp;</li><li><strong>Supervision -&nbsp;</strong>Cost control, subcontractor, craft worker management. Continuously communicates expectations and direction of scheduling, budget, policies and procedures, construction methods and safety to Owner and Subcontractor teams. &nbsp; Assists with the monitoring and of inspections and permits and special licenses. &nbsp;Selects jobsite craft workers, following the hiring practices and manages employees throughout project. &nbsp;Manages and monitors inventory of supplies. &nbsp;Issues and tracks jobsite changes through the RFI process. &nbsp;Coordinates and schedules activities site from ground breaking through Furnishing delivery and installation and Owner training.</li><li><strong>Safety &amp; Risk Management -&nbsp;</strong>Leads onsite efforts for project safety, ensuring a safe work environment by implementing and maintaining and growing Oxford Suite&rsquo;s programs for risk management and training. &nbsp;Superintendent will schedule and work with Cal Osha preconstruction meetings, including height permits. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Quality Control</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>&ndash; Works with Project Manager, Owner, Architect and Interior Designer team with the further development of interior and exterior details and material selections and onsite QAQC. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible to coordinate the assembly of all mockups and review of all submittals. &nbsp;Superintendent will create Owner punch list and coordinate punch list walkthrough&rsquo;s through punch list completion, prior to project turn-over. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Project Financial -&nbsp;</strong>Responsible with the assistance of developing the Project budget with Development Manager. Participates in pre-bid and post bid-meetings with subcontractors. &nbsp; Manages and monitors expenses, including subcontractor change order pricing, to ensure that the project is meeting budget and items are being purchased as cost effectively as possible. &nbsp;</li><li><strong>Customer Relations and Community Relations -&nbsp;</strong>Builds effective working relationships with suppliers, local subcontractors the Owner and the final client user, the Hotel Management team. &nbsp;Actively participates in community, industry and client events whenever possible within the community Oxford is currently Construction in.</li></ul><div><br></div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Proven track record of successful Commercial Construction projects with emphasis in Hospitality. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>10+ years experience preferred. &nbsp;Previous project scope and complexity my vary years of experience.</li><li>Credentials noting previous Safety certifications and training.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency with computers, primarily with email, Microsoft Word and Excel, plus experience with Computer Scheduling Programs, such as Microsoft Project and / or Primavera Contractor.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Must be available to travel.</li></ul><p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Proof of eligibility to work in the United States</li><li>Valid driver license and driving record</li><li>Reliable transportation to and from work &ndash; FOR A QUALITY SUPER, WE WILL NEED TO PROVIDE A COMPANY TRUCK</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule as required to assure completing the project within the established timeline, sometimes requiring weekend and work after typical hours.&nbsp;</li><li>Reliable and consistent attendance<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\" type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently</li><li>Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, climb and walk on uneven surfaces on a frequent basis</li><li>Must be able to walk, climb ladders and work outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)</li><li>Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 50 lbs. and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objects.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</p><p>Oxford Collection of hotels is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
