Spa, you will deliver exceptional facial, waxing, and body treatments that promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and beauty for our guests. Your expertise ensures every service meets the highest standards of care and customization, creating a personalized experience that exceeds expectations. You will maintain strict adherence to sanitation and safety protocols, demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, and provide professional recommendations to enhance guests’ wellness beyond their visit. By combining technical skill with a warm, welcoming approach, you will help create an atmosphere of luxury and comfort that defines the Live! Spa experience.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures the best treatment experience for guests by maintaining the standards set for the Live! Spa treatment menu and standards of excellence.</li>\n <li>Adheres to the policies of the spa and hotel.</li>\n <li>Performs facials, waxing, and body services that meet the established guidelines for the type of service offering and that fulfill guest expectations.</li>\n <li>Customizes treatments based upon guest needs and preferences.</li>\n <li>Performs all treatments on services menu under specific license.</li>\n <li>Is able to assess any contraindications of the guest that may prevent service from taking place.</li>\n <li>Maintains focused guest care all times throughout the service.</li>\n <li>Exhibits a positive and collaborative attitude in the workplace.</li>\n <li>Understands and uses universal precautions when providing services.</li>\n <li>Cleans and disinfects all equipment and workspaces in between services and on a daily basis as sanitation guidelines direct.</li>\n <li>Maintains the highest level of product knowledge and has complete knowledge of all spa services presently offered. Understands the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guests. Answers guest’s questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner.</li>\n <li>Recommends products for home use and is accountable to answer for reported product sale metrics.</li>\n <li>Consistently recommends other services or amenities of spa or hotel.</li>\n <li>Begins and ends all treatments on time.</li>\n <li>Follows all time and attendance policies. Works assigned schedule.  Arrives and departs from their shift on time.</li>\n <li>Informs Spa Manager or other assigned spa personnel about product or resource needs.</li>\n <li>Completes all assigned side work as needed including room set up and breakdown, removal of soiled linens, stocking and inventory.</li>\n <li>Attends all scheduled meetings.</li>\n <li>Attends scheduled professional trainings.</li>\n <li>Reports any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team. </li>\n <li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Maryland license in esthetics or other credentials required by the state of Maryland.</li>\n <li>Previous esthetic experience.</li>\n <li>Customer service experience, preferably in a spa. </li>\n <li>Must be able to build rapport with guests and determine needs.</li>\n <li>Excellent work ethic.</li>\n <li>Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.</li>\n <li>Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.</li>\n <li>Good verbal and written skills.</li>\n <li>Strong team player.</li>\n <li>Availability When the Facility Is Open: This could include nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid High School Diploma or GED. </li>\n <li>Must maintain all current licenses and certifications that are required on a state or local level.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move light objects.</li>\n <li>The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</li>\n <li>This position requires the following abilities: balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, tactile sense, repetitive motions, seeing, hearing, talking, and visual acuity.</li>\n <li>The employee will be required to operate the following tools: steamer, extractor, facial products such as masks, peals, and lotions, hot wax, tweezers, brow brush, LED lights, steamer, cleansing tools, gloves, finger cots, hot cabbie, paraffin heater, hand towels, disinfectants, and sterilizing solutions.</li>\n <li>Work conditions may include exposure to odors, fumes, and vibrations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
