The <strong>Sales Associate</strong> is responsible for a variety of retail functions, such as performing cashier duties, checking, and stocking inventory, general cleaning, and performing opening, mid-shift and closing duties as needed. This position also requires the preparation and serving of FriendShip food items at locations where food is served.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Sales Associate Responsibilities</strong></u></p><p>· Provide Wicked Awesome Customer Service (WACS) to our customers each day.</p><p>· Maintain outstanding guest service standards, product knowledge and all other components of guest services.</p><p>· Assists in receiving, placing, monitoring and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor as needed.</p><p>· Identifies and communicates merchandising and sales floor operational opportunities to Store Management staff.</p><p>· Maintain interior and exterior store appearance according to company housekeeping standards.</p><p>· Work with the Deli Manager to understand and execute proper deli food preparation and storage procedures.</p><p>· Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required.</p><p>· Regular attendance is required.</p><p>· Safely operate store equipment.</p><p>· Operation of cash register and responsibility for cash accountability.</p><p>· Completes shift paperwork and other paperwork, such as: price changes, transfers, etc. as directed by Supervisor.</p><p><em>* Job responsibilities may change at any time due to business needs.</em></p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Skills and Competencies:</strong></u></p><p>· Effective verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>· Friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus</p><p>· Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail.</p><p>· Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.</p><p>· Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.</p><p>· Availability to work flexible shifts.</p><p><br></p>",
