Knowledge of Homecare Homebase software is a plus! A Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides coordinated occupational therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Administers the occupational therapy treatment plan as developed by the OTR.</li><li>Assess and facilitate therapeutic interventions for ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment, and functional mobility.</li><li>Facilitates patients ROM, strength coordination, use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications functional mobility and safety issues as related to patients ADL performance needs under supervision of the OTR.</li><li>Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.</li><li>Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.</li><li>Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare practitioners involved in the patient’s care.</li><li>Participate in the Agency’s QAPI program and in-service training.</li><li>Meet continuing education requirements and demonstrate professional growth and competency.</li><li>Promote the Agency’s philosophy and policies to ensure high-quality care.</li></ul><p>·</p>",
