    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ol><li style=\"color:black;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Safe and efficient transport of patients to all areas of the hospital.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Transport charts and specimens in an efficient and confidential manner.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Rounding of Oxygen tanks on a daily basis and posses’ ability to inspect gauges to determine when an oxygen tank and/or regulator needs servicing.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Use of proper log-in log-out procedures using the Tele Tracking automated system.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Proper use of IVR/ Iphones for all trips.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Respond to transport trip request within 10 minutes from the time the trip alert is relayed to the beeper with proper equipment and linens.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Verify patient identity by checking Patients&nbsp;Name, D.O.B&nbsp;and&nbsp;Medical Record Number on wristband verifying&nbsp;it to the patient's chart. Following the&nbsp;second step procedure&nbsp;by asking&nbsp;patient&nbsp;their&nbsp;name and&nbsp;D.O.B. Assuring that no patient is taken from the unit without a&nbsp;patient wrist band.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Retrieve ticket to ride and get signature from patient’s RN and properly communicating patient information with testing department.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Maintain and clean all transportation equipment based on established infection control guidelines.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Adhere to all isolation procedures using gowns, mask, gloves, where appropriate.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Aid in informing customers, nursing units, and ancillary departments of delay</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Identify self when addressing patients, families, visitors, and co workers</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Use proper lifting techniques when moving a patient</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Follow hospital and departmental policies with special attention to safety, dress, attendance, punctuality, and display of ID badge</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Treats customers with courtesy, compassion, dignity, and respect.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Knowledge of A.I.D.E.T (Announce, Identify, Destination, Estimated time, Thank You).</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color:black;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in left 4.0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">High School Diploma or equivalent required.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in left 4.0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in left 4.0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Basic English reading, writing and verbal skills required.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in left 4.0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Prior healthcare experience is highly preferred.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in left 4.0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in left 4.0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Ability to lift, pull and push for extended periods of time.</span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">At Stamford Health, we believe that every patient deserves compassionate, personalized, person-centered care.
