Schedule - 4 10-hour days - Monday thru Thursday\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Works with clearly defined methods and tasks that are described in detail </li>\n <li>Works under close supervision with little autonomy</li>\n <li>Requires little or no prior relevant training or work experience</li>\n <li>Performs manual tasks according to established procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates, tests, and monitors assigned equipment according to established guidelines for an organization. </li>\n <li>Observes and conducts operation of equipment and documents maintenance needs. </li>\n <li>Troubleshoots control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper equipment function. May communicate with equipment technicians relating to highly complex issues. </li>\n <li>Verifies equipment data for reporting. Supports and assists with the installation of operating equipment. </li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Vocational/Technical Training Degree</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Written communication skills. Ability to gather and document information. Ability to lift/move heavy objects. Mechanical knowledge. Safety knowledge.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.</li>\n   <li>Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.</li>\n   <li>May need to stand for long periods of time.</li>\n   <li>Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.</li>\n   <li>May be requested to work a different shift.</li>\n   <li>Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.</li>\n   <li>This position is Safety-Sensitive.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Travel Requirements</h2>No or very little travel likely.\n  <h2>_____________________________</h2>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
