    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title:</span> Dietary Aide/Dishwasher<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Minneola Healthcare – Minneola, KS<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To:</span> Dietary Manager</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY:</span></p>\n<p>Under the general supervision of the Dietary Manager and the Cook, the Dietary Aide/Dishwasher helps prepare the residents’ drinks and doctor-ordered snacks and helps set up trays for meals. <span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13); font-size: 12pt\">The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our kitchen environment.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13); font-size: 12pt\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares liquids for residents at mealtime.</li>\n<li>Assists in preparation of salads/desserts as requested by Cook/Dietary Manager.</li>\n<li>Sets up meal trays at mealtime.</li>\n<li>Assists with cleanup of kitchen throughout the day and at closing time.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored according to established procedures and health regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth and efficient operations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive and respectful work environment.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB RELATIONSHIPS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible to: Dietary Manager and Cook on duty.</li>\n<li>Workers Supervised:  None.</li>\n<li>Interrelationships:  Dietary Aide works closely with all Dietary employees and LTC nursing staff, as well as interacting regularly with residents, residents’ families, and staff from throughout the organization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent teamwork and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as opportunities arise.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to read and write, make simple calculations, and follow oral and written directions.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING ENVIRONMENT: </span></p>\n<p>Works in clean, well-lighted, well-ventilated kitchen. </p>\n<p>Stands and walks short distances throughout the workday. </p>\n<p>Stoops for, reaches for, and lifts some small equipment. </p>\n<p>Must be able to lift 10 pounds.</p>\n<p><br></p>",
