    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>DEPARTMENT:</strong>&nbsp;PACKING</span></p><p><span><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong>&nbsp;PACKER</span></p><p><span><strong>REPORTS TO:&nbsp;</strong>Packing Facilitator</span></p><p><span><strong>SHIFT DAYS /HOURS</strong>:&nbsp; 10 hr. shifts (Sunday night-Wednesday night) 9:00 pm- 7:00 am) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.</span></p><p><strong>STARTING PAY:&nbsp; </strong>$16.97 per hour with $1.00 shift premium.&nbsp;</p><p><span>The&nbsp;</span><i><span><strong>Packer&nbsp;</strong></span></i><span>is an essential part of the manufacturing team and ensures the flow of finished products that are necessary for the Bonnell business to be successful. The Packer will consist of all functions related to packing of Bonnell parts.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>What You Will Be Responsible For:</strong></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><span>Perform packing functions per documented customer specifications.</span></li><li><span>Verify that all metal is packed properly and adequately banded.</span></li><li><span>Tag each bundle with packing tag.</span></li><li><span>Verify that all parts being packed meet Bonnell Aluminum quality standards.</span></li><li><span>Measure part length and verify that they meet the requirements of the shop order.</span></li><li><span>Visually inspect parts for surface defects.(Dents, Scratches, blisters, die lines, streaks)</span></li><li><span>Visually inspect parts for bow and twist conditions.</span></li><li><span>Record all data on required paperwork or on EPICS.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Line Leaders, and co-workers.</span></li><li><span>Keep work area clean and safe.</span></li><li><span>Wear required PPE.</span></li><li><span>Inform Supervisor of any quality or equipment or safety concerns.</span></li><li><span>Work without supervision at a good pace.</span></li><li><span>Have an acute awareness of conditions and hazards associated with the job.</span></li><li><span>Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.</span><ul><li><span>These duties may require the temporary transfer to another department.</span></li></ul></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Work Environment / Physical Demands:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.</span></li><li><span>The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch.
