We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</strong></p>\n<h2>Short Description</h2>\n<p>Demonstrates the skills, knowledge, and ability to effectively troubleshoot /diagnose and address maintenance and HVAC issues. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs routine and emergency repairs in the hospital, patient rooms, and public areas</li>\n <li> Reviews BMS system to insure HVAC systems are running correctly</li>\n <li>Performs all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer’s recommendations</li>\n <li>Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed; Skilled at using appropriate equipment and materials for assigned jobs; ensures economical and efficient use of materials; </li>\n <li>Participates with snow team; completes building rounds to insure all systems are operating as intended and the campus is safe for patients, guests and employees</li>\n <li>Monitors work area to consistently meet regulatory and safety standards</li>\n <li> Identifies existing or potential safety hazards for buildings, grounds, and equipment and reports to appropriate staff</li>\n <li>Maintains equipment and tools in proper working condition and ensures proper storage</li>\n <li>Remains aware of safety and building regulations when performing repairs, replacements, etc.; </li>\n <li> Responds to emergency calls for system and equipment failure; Will be expected to work a reasonable amount of scheduled, on-call, and overtime as necessary</li>\n <li>Performs additional duties requested in order to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Campus; Assists in the work direction of other mechanics, facility staff, trades helpers, and/or other skilled trades, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience Required</h2>\n<p>5 years related experience.</p>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<p>High School Diploma or Equivalent required.</p>\n<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>\n<p>EPA Refrigerant license preferred</p>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $25.00\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $42.50",
