Because at Intellectix, it's not what we do, it's why we do it.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures</li>\n<li>Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software</li>\n<li>Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels</li>\n<li>Leads efforts to ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups archive operations</li>\n<li>Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users</li>\n<li>May coach and provide guidance to less experience professionals</li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, ICMP, ssh and SNMP</li>\n<li>Responsible for provisioning virtual and physical servers or workstations</li>\n<li>Knowledge of repository management practices, patch administration, and vulnerability remediation<br></li>\n<li>May serve as a team or task lead</li>\n<li>Administering systems using automation and scripting tools to include CLI, Ansible, or various coding languages</li>\n<li>Skilled in system administration tasks such as file system, network, and account troubleshooting</li>\n<li>Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts</li>\n<li>Evaluates existing systems and plans long-term strategies</li>\n<li>Conducts advanced audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and guidelines</li>\n<li>Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions</li>\n<li>Performs advanced software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages</li>\n<li>Troubleshoots complex system hardware and software issues</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Education/Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree</li>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree or equivalent experience<br></li>\n<li>3+ years of related experience as a Linux Administrator</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Preferred Certifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Security+ Certification</li>\n<li>Linux+ Certification<br></li>\n<li>Additional Linux certifications (RHCSA, RHCE and LPIC) desired</li>\n<li>Network+ Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Join Intellectix and be part of a dynamic team that thrives on tempo, teamwork, and technical excellence.
