You will work on everything from power electronics circuit design to embedded systems, blending creativity with precision engineering to keep our facilities running at their best.</span></p><p><br><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Design and deploy next-generation control and drive electronics.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Create detailed design packages and testing electronics to troubleshooting complex systems that directly impact nuclear energy technology.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead projects, mentor engineers, and interact with clients.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Apply analytical methods, simulations, and industry standards to design safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that keep our operations moving forward.</span></li></ul><p><br><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><strong>Minimum Requirements: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 6+ years of experience (or equivalent) in industrial electronics, preferably with a focus on power electronics and electric machinery (PEEM) design</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">1+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, embedded systems design, and R&D</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Strong technical knowledge spanning low-voltage DC through three-phase systems</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Proficiency with engineering tools like PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, and/or CAD</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Excellent communication, presentation, and computational skills</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">The ability to obtain (or already hold) a “Q” security clearance</span></li></ul> <p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Active “Q” or Top Secret security clearance</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">A Master’s degree or 12+ years’ experience in industrial electronics design</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Experience in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated environments</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (UL, IEEE, NEC, ANSI, OSHA, NUREGS)</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Background in electric motor design/manufacturing or embedded software development</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">A passion for solving complex engineering challenges with innovative, real-world solutions</span><br> </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n\n<p>All eligible employees enjoy an excellent benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, short/long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off including holidays, and tuition reimbursement.</p>\n\n<p><strong>EEO Statement:</strong></p>\n\n<p>MSTI is an equal-opportunity employer.
