At TW Constructors, we build more than facilities, we build community support and success.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The construction Project Engineer will be based on the construction project site, and may even travel to sites across the country. </span>The Project Engineer will provide support to the project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of design/build, self-perform projects from design to completion. These phases include: Scheduling, bidding, permitting, subcontractor buyout, cost reporting, preparation of subcontracts, the handling of owner coordination, construction quality oversight, and project closeout. Travel or relocation will be required.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and co-workers </li>\n<li>Ability to negotiate, track, and create change orders, submittals, RFI's, and pay requests</li>\n<li>Actively contribute to the project schedule and close-out process</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assist Superintendent in the management of subcontractors.</span></li>\n<li>Monitor project labor, project costs, and equipment needs</li>\n<li>Participate in the design development process to collaborate and value engineer construction methods to reduce time and cost</li>\n<li>Assist in the preconstruction, quality, and safety processes</li>\n<li>Establish and maintain project schedules and budgets, responsible for overall project delivery</li>\n<li>Ensure contractor compliance of safety/OSHA requirements are met on all job sites to minimize risk</li>\n<li>Manage submittal process, change order negotiations and contract compliance</li>\n<li>Establish effective relationships and strive for a collaborative team environment</li>\n<li>Provide pricing for changes in project scope</li>\n<li>Any other work related-tasks required</li>\n<li>Our projects are nationwide - <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Travel or relocation will be required</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field of study<br></li>\n<li>1-5  years of experience in commercial project management<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Successful internships or project engineering experience is a plus</span></li>\n<li>Design-Build experience is ideal</li>\n<li>Active jobsite experience and strong safety record </li>\n<li>Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.</li>\n<li>Significant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of municipalities and the permit processes</li>\n<li>Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors</li>\n<li>Proven ability to negotiate and track change orders, submittals, RFI's, and pay requests</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time</li>\n<li>Proven ability to direct Superintendent to ensure accurate completion of project scope</li>\n<li>Documented ability to meet sensitive timelines</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Building Code and Safety Regulations</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS Project or other project management software</li>\n<li>Procore Certified or knowledge and skill in Procore<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.</span></li>\n<li>We are a drug free work place, must be able to pass pre and random drug tests</li>\n<li>Self-motivated and able to lead and motivate team members</li>\n<li>Thoughtful and confident decision making skills with high ethical standards</li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism</li>\n<li>Problem solving skills and the ability to think and react quickly under pressure</li>\n<li>Service-oriented approach in working with owners, co-workers, and any joint venture partners</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and high level of organization</li>\n<li>Reliable, dependable and professional with a strong sense of urgency</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why People Choose TW Constructors</span></p>\n<p>TW Constructors is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe workplace where people feel connected, valued, and able to reach their full potential.
