The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. They will work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Journeyman Electrician will report to the Electrical Foreman and work closely with the production team to ensure optimal performance of industrial machinery and equipment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In this role you will work in our North Wasatch Front Area: Tooele, West Valley, Salt Lake, Ogden, South Weber, Morgan, Perry, Logan </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical panels </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Inspect components, including wiring and electrical products to ensure they’re safe and within the required code </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Log time and resources in E360 </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Commute between work locations along the Wasatch Front </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stock </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Maintain tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working condition </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and provide solutions  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Keep up-to-date with industry codes and standards and ensure compliance in all work </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Collaborate with other trades professionals, such as HVAC technicians or plumbers, as needed </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Communicate with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide recommendations </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Train and mentor apprentices or less experienced electricians, as needed </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols and procedures </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualifications: </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Completion of an apprenticeship program and Journeyman Electrician certification </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>3+ years of experience in industrial, commercial and/or residential electrical installation and repair </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Valid Utah State Journeyman Electrician License </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Familiarity of PLC controls and Relay Logic preferred </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Knowledge of electrical systems and codes and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Familiarity with a variety of electrical tools and equipment </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Excellent communication and customer service skills </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to work independently or as part of a team </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, if required </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Apply online at genevarock.com/careers/ today! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*Current employees are required to speak with their immediate manager before applying for any open positions.*</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Referral Program: Current employees who refer qualified candidates prior to candidate interviews, will be eligible to receive referral bonuses should their candidate be hired.
