Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinology Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive endocrine care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The physician will manage complex metabolic and hormonal disorders while working collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers and facility staff.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Provide on-site endocrinology consults for SNF/LTC residents</p>\n<p>• Diagnose and manage complex endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and adrenal disorders</p>\n<p>• Oversee insulin management, endocrine therapies, and treatment optimization</p>\n<p>• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory and diagnostic studies</p>\n<p>• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and interdisciplinary teams</p>\n<p>• Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on metabolic disease outcomes</p>\n<p>• Ensure documentation meets CMS and regulatory requirements</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school</p>\n<p>• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency</p>\n<p>• Fellowship training in Endocrinology preferred</p>\n<p>• Active and unrestricted New York State medical license</p>\n<p>• DEA registration</p>\n<p>• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology</p>\n<p>• Experience in SNF/LTC settings preferred</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
