    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Assembler is primarily responsible produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies for products.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.</p>\n<p>• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.</p>\n<p>• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.</p>\n<p>• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.</p>\n<p>• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.</p>\n<p>• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.</p>\n<p>• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</p>\n<p>• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.</p>\n<p>• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.</p>\n<p>• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.</p>\n<p>• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</p>\n<p>• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.</p>\n<p>• Other duties as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>• Previous experience working within a highly technical environment.</p>\n<p>• Strong basic math skills.</p>\n<p>• Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly.</p>\n<p>• Previous forklift experience.</p>\n<p>• Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p>• Basic knowledge in blue prints reading and torque values.</p>\n<p>• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. </p>\n<p>• Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments. </p>\n<p>• Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently.</p>\n<p>• High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from is accredited institution. </p>\n<p>• Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task.</p>\n<p>• Good finger and hand dexterity.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Equal opportunity employer of women, minorities, protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.</p>",
