We are 18,000 projects and counting – improving lives and helping shape the growth of sustainable, progressive and inclusive communities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your role</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Assistant Project Managers get the opportunity to work with the best in the industry and to develop their skills on a diverse range of projects that vary in scope and complexity.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work alongside experienced project managers to learn the keys to client relationship building and successful project delivery</li>\n <li>Develops furniture and equipment test fits, room layouts and/or design concepts using various design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Sketch Up. </li>\n <li>Provide Revit drawing support to Project Managers as required and funded by projects</li>\n <li>Ability to create 3D space fit-up modelling based on furniture and equipment list and architectural floor plans</li>\n <li>Create 3D renderings in Revit and Sketch Up.</li>\n <li>Assist with various quality management issues especially as the interface with design drawings and equipment list updates</li>\n <li>Support the integration of Revit and BIM360 to our proprietary equipment planning platform </li>\n <li>Attend various project meetings, capturing accurate action items and key decisions in meeting minutes</li>\n <li>Provide a communication path between the Project Manager and other project stakeholders</li>\n <li>Ensure that project activities are conducted in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A university degree or diploma in interior design, or architectural technology (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)</li>\n <li>Self-motivation, initiative and an eagerness to learn and contribute to meeting projectdeliverables</li>\n <li>Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, and Sketch up. </li>\n <li>Ability to plan furniture and equipment in Revit model, including creation of Revit families and blocks.</li>\n <li>Maintaining and upgrading company Revit families, CAD blocks and layering standards</li>\n <li>Previous experience running quality controls and supporting quality assurance processes</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills</li>\n <li>A results-oriented approach with the ability to take action and responsibility</li>\n <li>Exceptional detail orientation, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines and client expectations</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling, word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications</li>\n <li>Familiarity working for, or with, the furniture industry is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Don’t have every single qualification?</strong> We know that some people are less likely to apply for a job unless they are a perfect match. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations.
