The Infusion RN will work alongside the Infusion MA and providers in the Infusion suites to assist AARA’s Infusion patients. The role of an Infusion Registered Nurse within AARA is to work closely with the Infusion MA greeting patients, taking vitals and weight, answering patient questions, and preparing them to be seen by the Physician, APC, and Infusion RN for their IV infusion.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Greet patients and sign in Infusion patients according to established protocols</li><li>Assist Infusion patients to make sure they have the questions answered about the medication they are receiving.</li><li>Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries</li><li>Schedule / Reschedule Infusion patient appointments, if necessary</li><li>Assist with charting and recording infusion vitals/administration/IV’s/medications</li><li>Perform verbal pre-infusion questionnaire with patient</li><li>Obtain vitals on patient prior to beginning infusion, during infusion and at discontinuation</li><li>Draw labs, if needed</li><li>Administer injections or IV as requested</li><li>Assist with removal/discontinuation of IV</li><li>Maintain sterile environment at all times</li><li>Maintain drug inventory &amp; medical supply stock</li><li>Maintain schedules and que medication to make sure drug inventory is correct</li><li>Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals</li><li>Respond and comply to requests for information</li><li>Ensure Infusion clinical suite area is well maintained, neat and clean</li><li>Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality</li><li>Other duties as assigned by management</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Learn more about AARA on our website at http://azarthritis.com</p><p><br></p>",
