During the off season this position will work on various projects and preventive maintenance. This is a full-time year-round benefit eligible position, paid at $30.00 - $35.00/hr, based on experience.</p><p></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</b></p><ul><li><p>Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures</p></li><li><p>Ability to braze and solder pipes and tubes</p></li><li><p>Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs</p></li><li><p><span>Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues</span></p></li><li><p><span>Determine and order materials for each project</span></p></li><li><p>Perform pressure tests on air and water systems</p></li><li><p>Other general maintenance duties as needed and assigned</p></li><li><p>Respond to and close work orders in a timely fashion</p></li><li><p>Additional duties as assigned      </p></li></ul><p>      </p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma, or equivalent     </p></li><li><p>Proof of completed apprenticeship</p></li><li><p>3&#43; years related experience         </p></li><li><p>Must have valid VT Journeyman Plumbing License</p></li><li><p>A general understanding and working knowledge of mechanical systems, i.e. heating, electrical and plumbing, is required for this position.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read technical designs and blueprints</p></li><li><p>Proficiency using plumbing tools, materials, and equipment</p></li><li><p>Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems</p></li><li><p>Understands state regulations and local building codes</p></li><li><p>Experience with oil and gas boilers</p></li><li><p>Must be a strong independent and collaborative worker</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS </b></p><p>Vehicle provided for travel on the mountain.
