Summary of Position The Department of Neurology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, announces the search for a neurologist, fellowship trained in Movement Disorders, to join its growing Neurodegenerative disease program in the role of clinician educator. Applicants must have a strong interest in working within an Academic environment, and possess academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the appropriate rank. The Neurodegenerative Disease Center provides multidisciplinary, wraparound care for all forms of movement disorders in a compassionate, one-stop setting. Expert team includes neurologists, neurosurgeons, therapists, case managers, nurse educators, and mental health specialists. Dedicated to excellence in care, education, and research, including clinical trials, registries, and tissue banking. Actively collaborates with the Neuroscience Institute to advance clinical and translational research. Candidate Qualifications M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent Fellowship trained in Movement Disorders Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license & DEA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment Features and Benefits Compensation consistent with leading academic institutions and CME Funds Vacation, Holiday, Sick and CME Time Generous 403b retirement match 457b Health, dental, and vision Malpractice Tuition remission Savi- student loan repayment program We are committed to fostering a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff.
