At Alpha Omega Hospice, we look for dedicated professionals who share our belief that true hospice care extends beyond medical needs—it’s about bringing dignity, peace, and human connection to every life we touch.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We offer a supportive, growth-oriented environment along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em><strong>Comprehensive Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Career Path Program that supports internal growth, advancement, and increased pay</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>A generous time-off package with 15 days of PTO & 10 Holidays to rest and recharge</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Tuition Reimbursement & Certification Assistance to support your professional growth</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Wellness & Discount Programs to help you lead a healthy and balanced life</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Cell Phone, Mileage, & Gym Membership Reimbursement for your convenience</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Company matching 401(k) to secure your future</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Hands-on Clinical Onboarding Program to ensure you have a smooth transition into our team</strong></em></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess and address the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and families as part of the interdisciplinary care plan.</li>\n <li>Provide spiritual counseling, comfort, and guidance for individuals and families of all faiths and belief systems.</li>\n <li>Offer grief and bereavement support throughout the hospice journey and following loss.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the Program Director and care team to coordinate spiritual care and ensure holistic, compassionate support.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with hospice staff and community partners to ensure continuity and quality of care.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and agency policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree), or appropriate certification in pastoral ministry strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>Minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in interfaith settings and able to accept diverse beliefs.</li>\n <li>Experience providing spiritual care in a hospice, hospital, or community health setting is strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to handle stress associated with ministering to patients/residents and their loved ones who experience pain, suffering, death, and grief.</li>\n <li>Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.</li>\n <li>Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>$25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.</strong></p>",
