    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Due Diligence Group Manager where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. This position can be seated in either our Woodridge IL, Chicago IL, or Indianapolis, IN offices.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You&#39;ll change the shape of your community by finding new solutions for previously uninhabitable land, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Environmental team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Here&#39;s What You&#39;ll Do&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Primary role of the Due Diligence Group Manager is to lead and manage the environmental due diligence group. Projects may include:<ul type=\"disc\"><li>Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)&nbsp;</li><li>Environmental compliance audits&nbsp;</li><li>Providing environmental consulting services for real estate transactions and redevelopment.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluate all types of real estate, business transactions and industrial operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze and recognize potential environmental impact and compliance issues, as well as legacy environmental liabilities, and provide clear and concise findings, recommendations, and options regarding client deliverables.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate and manage due diligence products, including multi-site portfolios and teams in support of financial and industrial mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supporting development efforts, including preparation of technical and cost proposals, to grow environmental due diligence work with existing and new clients.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and maintain client relationships, including identifying new opportunities and preparing technical and cost proposals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead, mentor, and support project teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in professional development through conferences and continuing education.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Contribute to V3&rsquo;s One Team culture by assisting on projects beyond core responsibilities.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Candidates will have experience with the following Technical/Regulatory Program Areas:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">ASTM Standard Phase I ESA / All Appropriate Inquiry</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Transaction Screens</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Records Search and Risk Assessments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Environmental Compliance Assessments</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>We&#39;re Looking For&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, science, health, or related field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">10+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, compliance evaluations, and applicable EH&amp;S laws and regulations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with regulatory site closure and remediation (preferred).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Certification or licensure in field of expertise (preferred).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven ability to assess diverse property, industry, and transaction types.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations with excellent research skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage clients, teams, contractors, and regulators.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Skilled at translating environmental and regulatory issues into clear business terms for clients.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong multitasking and time-management abilities to meet deadlines and budgets.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated business development success and professional engagement.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (preferred).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>We Offer&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Competitive salary, benefits, and performance-based bonuses.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Health Savings Account with V3 funding contribution.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Retirement plan with up to 6% company 401k match.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid time off, holidays, and volunteer paid time off.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Professional development opportunities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborative and supportive work environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Explore our website at www.v3co.com to learn more about us!&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Why V3?&nbsp;</strong>We empower our people with the skills and spirit to achieve their goals and make impactful transformations in the places we live and work.
