    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Salary:</strong> $60,000 - $80,000, DOE</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday - Friday; 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM</p>\n<p><strong>Full Time, Onsite</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>77 Trails End Road Eureka, Montana 59917</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our <strong>Academic Director</strong> is the key designer, leadership member, manager, and leader of the academic department, and is responsible for the supervision of all academic staff and faculty. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about promoting academic performance while the students work on their mental wellness and providing support to the teachers, students, and their families.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Chrysalis is looking for someone to lead a team in creating a positive impact on lives, using the beautiful Montana outdoors as our classroom.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and manage high-quality academic programs</li>\n <li>Supervise teachers and academic coordinator effectively</li>\n <li>Teach courses as needed</li>\n <li>Obtain and manage each students academic information upon enrolling, duration of students stay and after discharge.</li>\n <li>Manage official transcripts, progress reports, and report cards</li>\n <li>Advise students on issues such a course selection, progress toward graduation and career decisions.</li>\n <li>Meet with students whose classroom behavior requires disciplinary action in conjunction with therapists.</li>\n <li>Represent Chrysalis at community events and in meetings with Administration</li>\n <li>Oversee the accreditation and licensing process with the state of Montana and other agencies.</li>\n <li>Work with teachers to develop curricula and recommended curricula revisions.</li>\n <li>Create student schedules</li>\n <li>Oversee facilities management for the Academic department, including cleanliness, repair, and maintenance projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Montana teaching license</li>\n <li>Master’s degree in a related field required; Special Education certification preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in a related field preferred</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain flexible and collaborative in a team environment</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based systems</li>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li>\n <li>Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen in accordance with Montana state laws</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully complete federal and state background checks</li>\n <li>Valid Montana driver’s license, or ability to obtain one upon hire</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</strong> – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Parental Leave</strong> – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.</li>\n <li><strong>Life & Disability Coverage</strong> – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.</li>\n <li><strong>401(k) with Company Match</strong> – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.</li>\n <li><strong>PTO & Holidays</strong> – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.</li>\n <li><strong>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</strong> – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Chrysalis is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
