Be part of an extraordinary life!</p>\n<p><strong><u>You Will Enjoy:&nbsp;</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance*</li>\n <li>Life insurance*&nbsp;</li>\n <li>AD&amp;D insurance*</li>\n <li>Long-term disability insurance*</li>\n <li>401(k) with company match*</li>\n <li>Resident sponsored educational scholarships</li>\n <li>Generous PTO and paid holidays*</li>\n <li>Employee assistance program</li>\n <li>Free electric vehicle charging stations</li>\n <li>Daily Pay – Work today, get paid today</li>\n <li>An exceptional work environment that is both engaging and fun!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>*Benefit available to part-time and per diem employees depending on number of hours worked.&nbsp;</i></p>\n<p><strong>Essex Meadows</strong>&nbsp;is<strong>&nbsp;</strong>seeking hospitality focused CNAs to join our dedicated team within our Skilled Nursing Facility.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong><u>Primary Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Cares for the overall resident personal hygiene and ADL (activities of daily living) functioning.</li>\n <li>Must provide compassionate care yet encourage residents to their maximum level of independence under the direction of nursing supervisors.</li>\n <li>Encourages participation in functions of the facility and to transport, transfer, escort, supervise, and/or lend assistance as necessary.</li>\n <li>Maintains resident environment in a clean, orderly condition and reports any needed repair or cleaning.</li>\n <li>Answers signal lights promptly.</li>\n <li>Chart care performed using electronic medical records.</li>\n <li>Reports all assessments or observations of changes in resident condition in an accurate, timely manner and to document appropriately.</li>\n <li>Maintains residents’ safety and residents’ rights and performs duties in accordance with the policies of the facility, state and federal regulations, and as instructed by supervisors and the Director of Nursing Services.</li>\n <li>Attends in-service training, educational seminars, and staff meetings as needed to stay abreast of current nursing changes and new policies as required by the department.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current CT Certified Nurse Aide certification.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Minimum of six months to one year of experience as a CNA.</li>\n <li>Prior geriatric nursing aide experience preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to build rapport with patients.</li>\n <li>Compassionate and caring demeanor.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well in teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to speak and understand English.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
