    "description": "<h2>Subsidiary</h2>Vulcan Steel Products\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Sales Coordinator role is an entry-level development position designed to support the sales team while preparing individuals for future advancement into Inside Sales and ultimately Outside Sales roles.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle</li>\n <li>Answer customer phone calls and emails in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Enter orders, quotes, and sales data accurately</li>\n <li>Follow orders from entry through shipment</li>\n <li>Assist customers with pricing, availability, delivery, and product questions</li>\n <li>Build reports and assist with market research and sales projects</li>\n <li>Communicate with Operations, Shipping, and other departments as needed</li>\n <li>Learn Vulcan products, systems, and sales processes</li>\n <li>Assist teammates and contribute to a positive team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Assist teammates and contribute to a positive team environment</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma required</li>\n <li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Basic Microsoft Office skills</li>\n <li>Ability to learn ERP and business systems</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude</li>\n <li>Travel may occasionally be required for customer visits, training and industry events.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field</li>\n <li>2 or more years’ experience in sales</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
