    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>About the Role:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Marketplace Homes is seeking a highly skilled Director of Renovations to oversee and manage all aspects of our renovation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the Director of Renovations, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our renovation processes and procedures.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The ideal candidate will have experience with unit turns and common area renovations in both vacant occupied single-family homes. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the successful completion of construction projects by effectively managing and collaborating with our skilled field staff and outside contractors.&nbsp;</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Project Oversight: Manage field operations, including budget and job costing functions, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Team Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for site superintendents, fostering strong collaborative relationships.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Communication &amp; Leadership: Effectively communicate company objectives and targets to site superintendents and crews, ensuring alignment and understanding.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Resource Management: Manage resources to ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and manpower across multiple job sites.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Workforce Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the needs of the workforce, ensuring efficient and effective operations.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Equipment Optimization: Monitor equipment needs and utilization to ensure crews have the necessary tools while maintaining cost-effectiveness.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, technology, and innovation, and implement improvements.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges using available knowledge and resources.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Process Enhancement: Collaborate with superintendents and key employees to identify and implement more efficient operational methods.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Leadership Support: Assist in facilitating and leading periodic Foreman meetings.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Safety Champion: Partner with the Safety department to ensure adherence to safe work practices, compliance with safety regulations, and effective risk management.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Mentorship: Assist in identifying and mentoring future field leaders, including foremen.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Values &amp; Ethics: Uphold and promote the company&rsquo;s core values, integrity, and code of ethics.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Other Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Skills:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">As the Director of Renovations, you will need to have strong leadership and project management skills to effectively manage a team of professionals and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders. In addition, you will need to have a deep understanding of construction management and engineering principles, as well as experience with project management software. Finally, you will need to be able to think strategically and develop and implement strategies to improve our renovation processes and procedures.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">5+ years of experience in managing renovation projects</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale renovation projects</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Strong leadership and project management skills</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Ability to manage and lead a small team</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Bachelor&#39;s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in construction management, general contracting, residential home construction</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Project Planning &amp; Scheduling - Developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Successful record of managing multiple projects with a high level of detail, organization and time management.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Knowledge of current building codes, fire and safety codes and requirements</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Knowledge of construction contract documents, project scheduling, cost estimating, and budgeting.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Advanced understanding of construction materials and methods.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Excellent interpersonal skills, team building skills, problem-solving skills, and leadership skills.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Experience managing a team of up to 5 members</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Marketplace Homes is HYBRID, with all team members reporting into the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.</span></p><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
