Join a collegial group of 5 pediatric dermatologists and 6 nurse practitioners that are passionate about the care of children with skin disorders.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities include caring for infants, children and adolescents with dermatologic disorders in outpatient clinics; staffing inpatient consultations; and educating pediatric dermatology fellows, pediatric/dermatology residents, and medical students. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Pediatric Dermatology Department at Children's Mercy provides the highest quality, compassionate care to children with a variety of skin, hair and nail conditions. We serve as advocates for children and families through cutting-edge clinical research and educational outreach. We are the largest pediatric-focused dermatology clinic in the region and are one of the largest academic pediatric dermatology programs in the country. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Special multidisciplinary clinics are held for genetic skin disorders, melanoma, neurocutaneous disorders,  neurofibromatosis/tuberous sclerosis, and complex vascular anomalies. Opportunities exist for performing laser and excisional surgeries, as well as research endeavors.
